Rides On Top Of The Stratosphere Hotel In Las Vegas NV

If you are going to visit Las Vegas NV and like a good thrill ride, you should definitely check out the Stratosphere rides on top of the observation desk of the Stratosphere Hotel. So we're talking not the 108th floor but several floors up from that. There are four rides at the Stratosphere. The Big Shot is the tower you see directly on top of the Stratosphere. The X Scream is a rail type ride that rides you off the edge of the Stratosphere Hotel and pulls you back in. Another ride called Insanity swings you out over the edge of the Stratosphere Hotel and then spins you around and around. Finally for the really brave you can step off the edge of the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Hotel with Sky Jump and experience a fast controlled descent to a patio deck below. If you are staying at the Stratosphere Hotel you can watch this in action either from the 108th floor Observation Deck, or on channel 31 in your hotel room. When I was out of work on Nevada unemployment benefits, riding these Stratosphere thrill rides was something that always cheered me up.
